Funky Kong Is the "main monkey" and Donkey Kong's brother. His roles vary in the DK games but his hip attitude, shades and words of encouragement are a constant. In the first and second Donkey Kong Country games Funky would allow you to use his Barrel planes to travel to areas you had already cleared. In DKC 3 he built the various vehicles you would need to move around the world and to obtain everything for 103% And in DK64 he made the weaponry for the Kongs, along with homing ammo and several ammo increasing upgrades. A long list of achievements, for a supposed "surfer dude". He appears in Mario Kart Wii as an unlockable racer.
