Mini-Fads
From RWP Wiki
This is a list of mini-fads/running gags on the Rare Witch Project Forums. These have proven popular, but not necessarily as much as something along the lines of RWPunch.

Rick Rolling
The practice of Rickrolling[1] another user. Often used in lists of videos, one leading to a rickroll.
Milk
Started on Novermber 29th, 2007 on the RWChat. The chat held the members Hakey Wake, xxx, Mandy and repopbanjo. Eventually the topic strayed to the fact that Canadians bag their milk, which was thought to be a ridiculous thing to do. Andre joined in and was outraged when he learned that they bagged their milk. Repo made a thread in the forums asking people why Canadians bag their milk, which led to more people joining the chat. Mandy eventually made a whole forum dedicated to milk at the request of several members. It was a nonsense thing to do, but the Milk forums exploded in popularity and general funness. Every November 29th, the Milk forums are re-opened for Milk Day.
lol, emo tanjo
Began in a thread started by Tanjo entitled "Ever cut yourself and not feel it?" A nonsequiter reply from pinkbull came in the form of: "First thing I thought when I saw this title, "lol emo tanjo"," and thus began a mini-fad of replying to members' posts with simply "lol, (adjective), (member)". Usually at Tanjo's expense.
Companion Cube avatars
A fad sprouting from the 2007 game by Valve, Portal. The Companion Cube avatar fad takes an image of the Weighted Companion Cube found one area of the game, with an image pertaining to the member owning the avatar in place of the cube's "heart" design. The Companion Cube also has its own emoticon on the forums.
What is this I don't even
A fad technically starting from certain other places, "What is this I don't even" has become RWP's generic nonsense reply, especially when one does not understand a post. A social group started by Grey Jinjo also bears this name. The phrase was first used in this thread.
Cake
Started when Tanjo made a thread thanking whoever made editing thread titles available. ConkerKing explained that one could easily change the thread title from "What is your opinion on cake?" to "What is your opinion on penis?" [2] The thread was then immediately made by Tanjo. [3]
Ask
A Forum Fun fad created by Kablamooie in his "Ask Dr. Kab" thread. The topic creator roleplays as a character and is interviewed by the posters.
"How do you pronounce..."
Another small fad that began when Grey Jinjo posted a topic in Almost Anything Goes called "How do you pronounce the letter Z?" This attracted some attention, and the creation of threads where members would ask who to pronounce certain words began. Typically a member asks about a near-unpronounceable word or their username.
