Mr. Patch is a large, green, inflatable dinosaur. He has twelve patches and a plug located between his legs (it is later changed to the middle of his stomach in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts). He doesn't accept humor, especially from the wise-cracking breegull Kazooie.

Mr. Patch appears in the Big Top tent of Witchyworld. You may not enter unless yo give all 4 tickets to Conga the ringmaster. These tickets are obtained after defeating the Jackpot enemies. At first, the duo thinks Mr. Patch is a very uncomfy seat. He soon inflates himself to his full size, and the battle begins.
Boss Fight
- Necessary Moves
- Ariel Egg Aiming
- Grenade Egg
The boss battle against Mr. Patch is mostly airborne. He can not be defeated until you learn to use grenade eggs and airborne egg-aiming.
First Phase
Mr. Patch starts to stomp around the Big Top. Use the Grenade Eggs to shoot some of his patches. Whenever one is shot, he shrinks a little. After shooting a few patches, he moves to his second phase.
Second Phase
Mr. Patch then summons boxing gloves to home in on you on the ground. The boxing gloves give no time to shoot him from the ground, so it is time to take flight. A flying pad is also summoned. Take flight, and shoot him from the air with the grenade eggs (or, for a challenge, beak bomb him). Touching his body makes Banjo bounce back a far distance, but doesn't hurt him. While in the air, Mr. Patch also shoots exploding beach balls at Banjo, harming him. Once all the patches are shoot, Mr. Patch deflates.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Mr. Patch appears as the boss of Nutty Acres Act 5 during the challenge "Old Dog, New Tricks," wherein he is once again fought midair. Design wise, he hasn't changed much. He looks relatively the same but now has a slightly more menacing design than he did in Banjo Tooie. The placement of most of his patches have also changed.
A metal version of Mr. Patch also appears in Banjoland Act 6 during the challenge "Even Older Dog, Newer Tricks." This version of Mr. Patch is invincible against weapons and must instead be pushed into the Cactus of Strength three times in order for the player to defeat him.
