Showdown Town is the hub world in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. It is a large town where the Lord of Games transports Banjo, Kazooie and Gruntilda when he steps in to settle their feud over Spiral Mountain's ownership. Bottles works in Showdown Town as a tourist information officer.
Showdown Town is very large (purportedly sixteen times larger than any other game map created by Rare) and features many buildings and homes. Many of the buildings have doors which lead to "acts" of each of the five challenge worlds.
L.O.G. disallows Banjo and Kazooie from using any vehicle other than a default one resembling a shopping trolley while in Showdown Town. This trolley is automatically upgraded with certain key vehicle parts after completing a Grunty Challenge, allowing access to more of the town.
