Twelve Tales: Conker 64 (originally titled Conker's Quest) is a canceled game that was being developed around the same time as Banjo-Kazooie. The game starred Conker and Berri and was going to be a (presumably; it never recieved an actual rating) E-rated adventure-platformer game like Banjo-Kazooie. However, due to criticism Rare received for making another "cutesy" cartoony 3D platformer game, the game was canned and redesigned as the mature-rated Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Single-player adventure
According to an IGN preview, the game would have followed both Conker and Berri in a quest to go through four different worlds, collecting back 100 stolen presents as well as rescuing kidnapped friends of theirs. They would also be collected actual Conker nuts to progress. The available moves would have included "tail-flips and cork-screw dives" (among other things). Another interesting feature to note is that certain parts of the game apparently would clue you in on what to do next with Conker and Berri's facial expressions. There would have also been seven vehicles to used at certain points help players reach new areas. Apparently, you were to be able to select the character you play as, and the game would change depending on who is chosen.
Conker's version of the single-player quest was apparently focused more on stages with arcade-like action, whereas Berri's would have been more strategy-oriented, with a protective monster pet following her that she would need to keep fed.
Multiplayer
The game would have featured many different multiplayer modes, which are as follows.
